Project: Drinking puzzle
Drinking puzzle is a small application to solve one of my favorite childhood puzzle games: YPP drinking. I used to play this game a lot during my secondary school days and I enjoyed figuring out tactics and playing against local gurus. Over 15 years later the game is merely a shadow of what it used to be, but I found it fun to go back and conquer my childhood challenge using a neural networks implementation.
The application is written exclusively in C++ using MFC. I am aware that MFC is a legacy technology but I have always found it fascinating to see how applications worked under the hood and a modern look and feel was not my concern. Additionally, choosing a pure C++ solution saved me trouble with interoperability when implementing neural networks.
TODO: add some results once I have it.
