About Kreweta

Hi! My name is Mariusz "Kreweta" Kowalski and I am a software engineer. On this site you can find links to some of my private projects along with brief descriptions and other general information about me.

My interest in computers was sparked in the early 2000s when my parents bought me my first personal computer at the age of 9. At the age of 14, I decided that creating amazing software for other people was what I wanted to do in my life. I picked up my first IT resource, a C++ programming course "Od zera do gier kodera", wrote my first console application, and knew that this was indeed amazing, interesting, and extremely satisfying to me.

For the past 5 years, I have been working in an IT consulting company, Sollers, as a Java/Gosu developer. In general, I design and implement customizations and cross-system integrations of a core ERP product. Over these 5 years, I have had the pleasure to work for multiple insurers in many countries such as Belgium, Japan, and Germany. I have always tried to create useful code to help them run their business.

In my free time I enjoy further expanding my IT knowledge in fields that I find interesting and relevant to my job. When I am resting, I usually play World of Warcraft with my long-time friends from the For Fun community. Besides that, I also enjoy sleeping!
